Introduction
The Borough of Poole is committed to promoting equality and respecting diversity in our town, our services and our workplace. This draft policy sets out our aims as a Community Leader, Service Provider and employer.

Background
We want to be held to account for the promises set out in this document and we are looking forward to turning our commitments into a reality for Poole. We are consulting with Elected members, our services, the Trade Unions, local equalities organisations and local residents to make sure their views are represented.
