10 Jul 06- 19 Sep 06

Introduction

Before the Gambling Act 2005 comes into force we are consulting with interested parties, businesses and residents on the Borough of Poole's draft statement of Gambling Policy. This policy statement explains how the Borough of Poole intend to implement those parts of the new legislation that the council are responsible for.

The Licensing Authority has consulted with and taken into account comments received from many organisations to prepare this Policy. This is your opportunity to suggest amendments that may be incorporated into the document. Any comments made will be assessed for their relevance to the Gambling Act 2005.

Once consultation has been completed the policy document will be presented to the Council to be adopted. The Council will consult and review the policy every three years.
