2006 Best Value Planning Survey

Introduction
Planning Design and Control Services will be conducting the Best Value Planning Survey this Autumn.
The survey will target a random sample of planning applicants who have received a decision letter on their application between 3 April 2006 and September 29 2006.
The survey will ask questions about satisfaction with various aspects of the planning service. It includes a number of performance indicators that will be compared with other Local Authorities, as all Planning Authorities carry out a similar survey every three years so that performance can be compared.
The results will be available from the beginning of 2006, once the data is returned from the Department for Communities and Local Government.
