Introduction
Poole is at a very important stage in the development of educational provision.
Historically, standards have been high across much of te Borough and there have been some outstanding achievements. however there are aslo some areas where we could do better.
The Government has established two major programmes of capital investment to create schools fit for the 21st centurt. The Primary Capital Programme (primary education) and Building Schools for the Future (secondary education) provide opportunities to invest in improved provision across the Borough.
The consultation papers shown here explain the background to the Primary Capital programme and set out proposals for the first four years of this 14 year programme. Consultation on the Building Schools for the Future programme will be undertaken seperately.
