Building Schools for the Future
6 Jun 08- 18 Jul 08
Introduction
Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is a national Government programme designed to transform secondary education over the next 10-15 years. The aim is to improve educational achievement by providing new facilities that can support new ways of teaching and learning. Almost every secondary school in the country will be rebuilt or refurbished.
BSF is a joint project for the Borough of Poole and Bournemouth Borough Council. Approximately £120 million has been awarded to the councils to help transform 9 schools in the area; other schools will be included in later funding waves.
