Local Development Framework - Consultation on Preferred Options for Sites
26 Aug 09- 9 Oct 09
Introduction
The Poole Site Specific Allocations Development Plan Document (DPD) will allocate sites and provide detailed policies for places, areas and issues, to guide development in Poole over the period to 2026, in conformity with the Poole Core Strategy, which was adopted in February 2009.
Background
As part of the on-going consultation process in respect of the Site Specific Allocations DPD, a document has been prepared that details Preferred Options for sites and areas.
Although no longer a compulsory stage of the Local Development Framework process, this consultation will provide the opportunity for a range of stakeholders to comment on the choices that have been made on key sites and areas across the Borough, in seeking to deliver the spatial approach to change over the period to 2026.
Comments and feedback received through this consultation will be used to inform the allocation of sites to be included in the Pre-submission Document, which will be the subject of formal consultation scheduled for early 2010.
The Site Specific Allocations Development Plan Document can be viewed and commented upon online between 26 August 2009 to 6 October 2009 (23:59).
