Ashley Cross Transportation Consultation

Introduction
As part of our Local Transport Plan we are looking at ways of improving traffic flow between Poole and Bournemouth town centres
This consultation is concerned with a section of road on the A35 in Lower Parkstone, at Ashley Cross and the Commercial Road/Station Road Junctions.
- Existing Problems
The high traffic flows at peak time combined with the pedestrian crossing movements at Ashley Cross result in queues forming on Commercial Road and Station Road, which increases pollution and reduces air quality in the area.

Further detail regarding options for improvements to Ashley Cross, Station Road and Church Road will be exhibited at the East Dorset Tennis Club, Salterns Road, BH14 8BL on:
6th May - 2pm to 8pm
7th May - 2pm to 6.30pm
