Affordable Housing Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)

Introduction
This draft Affordable Housing SPD has been prepared for public consultation, and is undertaken prior to any formal adoption of the SPD by the Council. It is intended to replace the previous Supplementary Planning Guidance (dated February 2004), and it will support policy PCS 6 of the adopted Core Strategy adopted in February 2009.
The public consultation will run for 6 weeks from 10 February to 24 March 2010. Responses will help to inform the final document before it is adopted later in the year. In responding to the consultation it may be helpful to consider the questions set out at the beginning of the SPD document.
