Poole Opinion Panel.
Results
With the launch of Poole's 2002 summer events programme, we wanted to find out what Poole residents thought of the events, and if you were worried about noise levels and disruption.
89% of Panel members think the events programme is really good and either go along themselves (43%) or don't go, but think that they are good for tourism (46%).
83% don't think that noise from fireworks is a concern to them, and 79% don't think that noice from people/traffic at events is a concern.
Graham Richardson, Tourism Manager, said: "The Poole Tourism Partnership is really pleased that feedback from the Panel endorses Poole's special events. We intend to continue with the current formula for 2003's programme, ensuring that each event is popular for residents and tourists alike."
