Background
Any improvements would be funded by what is known as ‘developer funding’. That is financial contributions that are collected via the planning system where developers pays a contribution towards the cost of procuring new open space or towards the improvement of existing Parks and open spaces in the locality.
Developer Funding cannot be used for routine maintenance or to replace worn out items that would normally be replaced e.g. seats and litter bins or say for increased grass cutting.
Technique
Consultation Document.
