Jeff Morley, Team Manager, Environmental & Consumer Protection,
said: "As a result of what POP has told us we are targeting the priority areas. We are increasing test purchasing of alcohol and tobacco using underage volunteers and are working with businesses to ensure they that staff know their responsibilities under the law, including giving out a training CD. All reported dangerous dogs attacks will be investigated and we will continue to manage unauthorised traveller encampments. If they do not behave responsibly we will take immediate steps to evict them from council land and will pressure private land owners to do likewise."
