The Internet is a now a popular and widely used tool for undertaking many tasks. We wanted to know how you use the Internet and the Council website so that it would enable us to decide how to deliver our services to you.

When asked how often you used the Internet, 89% of you indicated you use it at least once a week. 92% access the Internet from home.

The 3 most popular reasons for using the Internet were:

1. Accessing Information
2. Sending / receiving emails
3. Booking services

79% of you that use the Internet access the Council’s website boroughofpoole.com. With 31% accessing the site at least once a month.

The most common reason for accessing boroughofpoole.com was to access information (74%). 25% of you access the site to report problems and 7% of you access it to make a complaint.
